Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These terms govern your firm’s use of Audex. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your firm.
1. The service
Audex is an all-in-one platform for accounting professionals: document collection, compliance deadline tracking, tasks, billing, client portal and related features. Audex is a tool - it does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and AI-generated suggestions are drafts that require review by a qualified professional before use.
2. Accounts and plans
- All plans (Starter, Growth, Firm) are paid subscriptions with published limits on staff seats, clients and storage.
- Paid plans are billed annually in advance via Razorpay. Plan prices are exclusive of GST; applicable GST (18%) is added at checkout and a GST invoice is provided.
- You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for all activity under your firm’s accounts.
3. Refunds
You may cancel a paid plan at any time for a pro-rata refund of the unused period, calculated to the day - there is no fixed refund window. On cancellation, access continues until you choose to stop, and the refunded amount covers the days you have not used. To cancel or request a refund, write to support@audex.in.
4. Your data
- Your firm owns its data. We claim no rights over the client records, documents or financial data you store in Audex.
- You can export your data (CSV) from inside the product at any time, and may request a full export when closing your account.
- After account closure we retain data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule, then delete it.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful content, no attempts to breach tenant isolation or probe the security of the service, no reselling without a written agreement.
- You confirm you have the authority (as your clients’ accountant) to store and process the client data you enter.
6. Availability and support
We target high availability but the service is provided “as is” without an uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Support is provided by email and our in-app help centre during Indian business hours, with extended hours during filing peaks.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Audex’s aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees paid by your firm in the 12 months preceding the claim. Audex is not liable for statutory penalties, late fees or losses arising from missed deadlines - deadline alerts are an aid, not a substitute for professional diligence.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts for material breach of these terms after notice, except where immediate suspension is required to protect the service or other customers.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the company’s registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-law provisions.
